A New Year

(sigh) Well, my new year has taken a wonderful start! Not. I hope you all are doing a bit better. My dad scolded me this morning for waking up late but nobody tried to wake me up in the first place! Happy New Year to you too, dad. Me and my mom got into a fight last night and I threw up from crying so much afterwards. Wonderful start, neh?

My dad told me that today we would be cleaning the house to start off New Years. Yipeee, I've been cleaning the house all morning. Well, I'm glad that they've finally left the house. I love my parents and all, I'd love them even if they weren't my parents, but right now, I just want to vent and blast music and that's exactly what I'm doing.

I got my braces off December 30th, exactly two years after I got spacers!!! Yay! I'm really happy about that! It didn't even hurt! But the thing that brought my happiness down was my mom giving me a long lecture on our way home about how in my folder it said "Patient is sensitive and anxious at appointments." Well, she would be too if out of all the nice people that could take care of you, you end up with the girl that looks and acts like a snobby, indifferent high school cheerleader! (I have friends who are cheerleaders so don't think that I hate cheerleaders) But they gave me a huge bag of candy filled with all of the things they said I couldn't eat when I had braces... emphasis on the word "said"....
